On September 23, Earvin “Magic” Johnson caused a media stir when he visited Everett with business partner Best Buy Mobile. Best Buy presented the school with a $5,000 check.

How excited are you for Justin Bieber’s new Christmas album?
Some students at Everett are really excited to buy it, and some students could care less. Either way, the album is being talked about by many.
Bieber’s album came out on November 1. Some of the songs were already released on iTunes before then. The first track from the CD “Under the Mistletoe” was Number One on iTunes within the day of its release. Other tracks released also made the top charts.

All members of the Class of 2012 should meet in the courtyard Friday afternoon for the Senior Group Photo. Students will be dismissed from their sixth hour classes via the PA system at 2:27 pm. All students are encouraged to attend the photo.
“When you look back five, ten year from now, you will want to have been in this photo,” said newspaper adviser Chad Sanders. “It really is a fun picture, that people hang on to for a long time.”

The seniors have endured all four years of high school. At the end of the school year, about 250 seniors will be sitting on the floor at the Lansing Center. Ten will be have a special seat on the stage.
Those ten students are the ones that have become Everett’s valedictorian and salutatorian. The one’s whom gets the pleasure to sit on the stage are Helena Wentworth, Edward Young, Justin Lundy, Van Hoang, Vu Ho, Jacob McLouth, Elizabeth Curry, Phuoc Ngo, Monique Hudson, and Maddie Heck.
