Like many students, junior Dalil Omerovic watched coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games that took place in Vancouver, Canada that took place in February.
“I wasn’t able to watch the Olympic (games) every day, but I watched whenever I had a chance,” said junior Dalila Omerovic “My favorite sport to watch was the figure skating.”

Many students do not realize that Everett has two bowling teams. There is a boy’s team and a girl’s team made up of students ranging from freshman to seniors.
“The bowling team have been around for about five years, but I’ves only been on it for two years,” seniors Manuel Fores explains.

Senior Michael Smith arrives at school at 5:00 a.m. to jump into a pool of freezing cold water. When most people are still home in their warm beds, he and many of his teammates have already done hundreds of laps in the pool—all in preparation for Hell Week.
“During Hell Week, its awful,” said senior Michael Smith. “Afterwards you feel good you did it, but you’re physically exhausted.”

Great Lakes Track & Field (GLTF) was formed in 1992 as an extension of the Environmental Change Community Outreach Program. Basically, it is a program to develop sports programs for community youth.
