Its HALLOWEEKEND at Cedar Point and our very own Everett Marching Band got to perform in the halloween parade. Every year the Everett Marching Band gets the opportunity to travel to Cedar Point to play in the Halloweekend parade, they also have plenty of time to eat and ride rides. During Halloweekend, Cedar Point features many different haunted attractions. CARN-EVIL is a long stretch throughout the back of the park where there is many flashing lights and smoke machines to make it hard to see for a bigger adrenaline rush. Other than CARN-EVIL there is haunted houses where you must wait in line, and enter by groups.

Cedar Point was the band’s first out of state performance this year, so it was a different experience for some of the new members.

“It was fun because it was something new to do with the band,” said Freshman Clarinet Player Autumn McDaniel.

When the band travels to Cedar Point to perform they are representing Everett High School, Lansing, and Michigan.

“I think we represented Lansing fantastically,” said Senior Tuba Player Makayla Gleason. “We were super pumped for the parade and everyone said we were great, the crowd responded so well and they were dancing with us. It was such a great time.”

Your band was very entertaining. I loved listening to them jam prior to the parade starting. I was one of the clowns lingering around hoping to give you guys a laugh (or maybe a little scare!)
