Visitors from Germany: Foreign exchange students Patrick Feth and Isabel Knapp enjoy their last few months at Everett before they go home to Germany.

Everett High School has had the opportunity to have exchange students come from all over the world.  Two of the most recent guests are from Germany.
German exchange students junior Isabel Knapp and junior Patrick Feth arrived just this year.
“I’ve taken the opportunity of coming here as a big deal,” said Feth. “It was something I’ve always looked forward to.”
They both enjoy spending time in after-school activities and would like to try out for sports in the spring.
“Since I really like the school spirit here, I’m excited for baseball season,” said Feth.
Exchanged students also experience a new environment with their host families.
Although Knapp has previously visited the United States she is still looking forward to traveling the country.
“I’d like to see more of America and see what it has to offer me,” said Knapp.
Feth also hopes to travel to the West coast before he goes home.  He said he would like to return to the United States in the future.

“I want to come back to the U.S. to improve my English a lot more,” said Feth. “It’ll be an advantage later on in life.”
Both Knapp and Feth plan to continue their stay here until June but are excited about returning to Germany so they can graduate with their class.
“Oh yes, I’m very excited to head back to Germany,” said Knapp. “My friends were worried that I wasn’t going to graduate with them.”
